Renewal Period Guidelines

On application for a renewal, the Portal will trigger an automatic code that related to the reference number of the right. However, the renewal period of that right will need to be updated. This is done by following the below guidelines:

- After your application is made, click on "Assign Renewal Code: Permits and Rights" link

- This will take you onto a seperate page that requires you to enter the correct Reference Number of the renewal application.

Different renewal periods would require a different suffix on the Reference Number e.g an ER Renewal within it's first renewal period 12/3/001/1A. The renewal periods are dependant on the applicant that is renewing and it which stage their Right is in. The renewal period that need to be included on the reference number are as follows:

• First Renewal: Existing reference numer/1A
• Second Renewal: Existing reference numer/1B
• Third Renewal: Existing reference numer/1C
